Arvigo® Abdominal Massage Therapy (Mayan Abdominal Massage)
Arvigo® Abdominal Massage Therapy, also known as Mayan Abdominal Massage, is a non-invasive, external bodywork technique designed to support the health and function of the abdominal and pelvic organs. Rooted in centuries-old traditions of abdominal therapies practiced by healers and midwives worldwide, it was modernized and systematized by Dr. Rosita Arvigo. After studying with Mayan healer Don Elijio Panti and midwife Miss Hortense Robinson, Dr. Arvigo combined these ancestral practices with a modern understanding of anatomy and physiology, creating the protocol now known as the Arvigo® Techniques of Mayan Abdominal Massage.
