Dr. Fei-Ing is a California-licensed acupuncturist with more than 20 years of clinical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She earned her PhD in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, specializing in TCM Gynecology. Having practiced in both China and the United States, she brings extensive clinical knowledge and a broad perspective to caring for patients with women’s health concerns and neuromuscular conditions.
Dr. Fei-Ing received advanced clinical training at Dongzhimen Hospital in Beijing, where she completed an extensive internship in the Department of TCM Gynecology. Her training encompassed a wide range of women’s health conditions, including menstrual disorders, pelvic inflammatory disease, pregnancy-related concerns, postpartum care, support during assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatment, and benign gynecological conditions such as uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and endometriosis.
She also completed six months of intensive advanced training in the Acupuncture-Neurology Department at the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The hospital is internationally recognized for its acupuncture program and was featured in the documentary 9000 Needles. Her clinical training focused on neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, including post-stroke complications, Bell’s palsy, cervical spondylosis, frozen shoulder, and lower back pain.
With her extensive background in both traditional Chinese and Western healthcare environments, Dr. Fei-Ing values collaboration between Traditional Chinese Medicine and conventional medicine. She believes in an integrative, patient-centered approach that draws upon the strengths of different medical disciplines to support health and well-being.
Beyond her clinical qualifications, Dr. Fei-Ing brings a rich multicultural perspective to her practice. Born and raised in the Philippines to Taiwanese parents, she pursued her undergraduate and graduate education in mainland China before building her professional life in the United States. Fluent in four languages, she has a deep appreciation for the diverse cultural backgrounds, lifestyles, and beliefs that shape each patient’s healthcare journey.
Dr. Fei-Ing believes that although our cultural backgrounds and perspectives may differ, our shared desire for better health and quality of life connects us all. She is passionate about providing care that respects each individual’s needs while embracing a natural, thoughtful, and environmentally conscious approach to wellness.
